Introduction

This course is designed to teach emergency paediatric first aid to parents or to people who can act as backup to holders of the Paediatric First Aid certificate.  The course is 4 hours long and there is no exam.

The First Aid Training for Childcare Workers course will cover:

• Causes and Treatment of an Unconscious Baby or Child
• Paediatric Recovery Position
• Baby and Child CPR
• Choking and Asphyxia
• Wounds and Bleeding
• Question and answer session
