First Aid at Work Training
Certification: First Aid At Work
Course Duration: 3 Days (2 Days if Re-Qualifiying)
Location: In-House or at our London Based Training Centre
Price: £1200 + VAT (Training for up to 12 Candidates)
Introduction
The course consists of eighteen hours of assisted learning, which is split over three days. On the final day candidates are required to take and pass an independent HSE Health and Safety Executive approved assessment.
Course Content
The First Aid at Work Training course is the HSE Health and Safety Executive highest required certification for first aid and will include:
- Aims and Priorities
- Asphyxia and Choking
- Body Temperatures
- Burns
- Chest Injuries
- Contaminated Waste Disposal
- CPR - Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Eye Injuries
- Fainting
- Fractures
- Head Injuries
- Heart Conditions
- Incident Management
- Poisons, Drugs and Toxins
- Record Keeping
- Shock
- Stroke / CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
- Unconscious Casualty
- Wounds and Bleeding
All subjects are trained to be certified in accordance with Resuscitation Council UK and are approved by the Health and Safety executive. Our aim is to provide you with the highest possible standard of first aid training at a reasonable price.
Re-Qualification
Re-Qualification is for holders of a current First Aid at Work Certificate who wish to renew their certification. The course consists of 2 days learning followed by an independant asessment on the final day. Note: Candidates are required to show their current First Aid at Work certificates on the first day of the course.
Course Options
Individual
We provide individual placements for our First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work Requalification courses at our training centre in Poplar (Click for Map). Please note that there is no on site parking available, however the training centre is located next to Blackwall DLR station.
In-House Group Training
We provide in-house training for organisations who wish to train a group of up to 14 people.
